Vanessa Wilson is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. Her early child hood was comprised of piano, ballet, rollerblading, and voice lessons, however as she went on to high school she fell in love with theater. Throughout her high school career she performed in every musical theater production. Along with theater she also was a member of the volleyball team for four years as well as running track, playing tennis, and cheer leading throughout her four years. 

She graduated from Joppatown High School with honors and later graduated from Marymount University with a degree in Communication/Broadcast Journalism. During college she competed in Miss College Park and Miss Maryland USA.
In 2008 she won the title of Miss Maryland International 2008. Vanessa intends to become a successful model, actress, television personality and philanthropist. On her free time she is an active community service volunteer and is currently working with the World Food Program and various local charities. She is vigorously pursuing a career on air and intends to use her success to help others achieve their goals. She is currently working as a Production Assistant at NBC News in Washington, D.C area. Her life’s motto is “Be the change you want to see”.
